Saving is a virtue. But saving should also have clear goals and give real planning certainty. The SchatzBrief is a private pension insurance (private Rentenversicherung) with a single premium, for medium to long-term wealth building (minimum single premium 3,000 euros, minimum term 10 years). For people who want to save for a specific goal over the long term, the SchatzBrief can be an option.
Germany has a wide range of ways to save, from classic savings accounts and fixed-term deposits through government bonds to shares and funds. Each has its own risk and return profile and suits different savings strategies and life situations. The SchatzBrief, by contrast, is a private pension insurance with a single premium, and its level of guarantee depends on the pension concept you choose.
A key feature of the SchatzBrief is its guarantees: their level depends on the pension concept you choose. A fixed final amount is not guaranteed.
The SchatzBrief is for savers who want to build wealth for retirement over the medium to long term with a single premium.
When assessing a SchatzBrief offer, consider the effective return, the term, the flexibility on early termination and the tax treatment of the income.
We help you find the right offer and fit your savings plan to your personal goals.
